A beautiful example of accomplished American painter Nicolai Cikovsky’s work. A clever perspective oil painting combining portrait and self portrait. In beautiful condition for its age, dating from sometime in the mid 40’s to possibly early 50’s. His work can be found in the Whitney, MoMA, the BrooklynMuseum and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
