A small but visually striking piece by one of Oregons legendary modernist painters, Louis Bunce (1907-1983). Bunce first studied at the Portland Museum Art School and then at the Art Student’s League in New York in the mid 1920’s. One of his largest commissions done in 1957, at the Portland International Airport, can still be seen today.
