A very subtly layered ink wash/pencil on paper by sculptor Calvin Albert (1918-2007). He was a student under sculptors Moholy-Nagy and Alexander Archipenko throughout the 1940’s. More known for his sculptural works, his pencil and ink wash drawings have a really dreamlike quality to them. Dates to sometime around the 1950’s.
