A wonderful oil on canvas board by Portland artist Albert Patecky (1906-1994). Brilliant monochromatic blue color scheme. I believe this to be depicting Keller fountain with the Portland city skyline in the background. Very early period photos of the fountain show no shrubbery or trees around it. I couldn’t find any photos from the angle this was painted at.
